Tour Du Soleil

A lot of us want to install solar panels on our homes, but put off researching our options because the whole thing can seem so complicated and expensive. Sometimes it can even be hard to tell which technologies are actually available today, which ones are still being developed, and which ones are only hypothetical. And how long does it really take for a solar system to pay for itself? And what if it rains for two weeks straight? Could someone else please just go first?

So many questions, so few answers. How do we turn our solar dreams to reality? How do we see the light?

This Saturday, take your solar destiny into your own two hands. All over the country, the 12th annual National Solar Tour will be showing participants (you) through the eco-glorious homes and businesses of people who have already taken the leap and are doing just fine. What better way to explore your energy options than to take a tour through your neighbor’s eco-digs? The National Solar Tour is the largest sustainable energy event in the US; the American Solar Energy Society predicts that some 100,000 Americans will take a tour this year, and learn first hand how to save energy and money with cutting edge solar, wind, and renewable energy technologies. Will you be one of them?

Find a tour near you.
