Katherine Heigl busted for littering
Poor Katherine Heigl. First she gets Knocked Up by an unemployed, illegal resident Canadian pot head, then Grey’s Anatomy supposedly threatens to kill her off for being a brat, and now she gets busted for littering. Talk about a streak of bad luck.
Back up: yes, it’s true. Heigl littered. Gasp. She threw her cigarette butt right on the ground, and just a mere ten feet away from the nearest trash can, to boot. A “source”—not to put too much trust in the ever reliable, anonymous “source”—apparently said of the incident:
The officer told Katherine to pick up the butt and throw it away in the trash, 10 feet away. He added that he'd fine her next time he catches her tossing trash on the sidewalk.
We don’t know which is the bigger bummer—that the on-screen doctor smokes in real life, or that she fails eco 101: thou shalt not litter. At least she’s really, really, really blonde.
